Get ready, get set ...

First off, I want to say what a great Christmas/New Years we had! For the first time since we've been married we had Christmas at our own house. It was so fun to decorate the house and then see the girls' (mostly Myla's) reaction to all the presents on Christmas morning. We were also able to go up to Pittsburgh and spend almost a week there visiting with family - maybe for the last time for a while! :(

Here is a cute shot of the girls that I had to share, aren't they just dolls!!?
And, here is a picture of Pittsburgh I took while riding the Incline down Mt. Washington:
Now we are back home, and back to our usual routines.  We have a mountain of paperwork to do and appointments to make so we can get our passports and visas, etc. It's going to take around 8 weeks to get everything processed - which is why I need to start now! Our belongings will probably get packed up around the beginning of March and we will head out around March 16. We should be reunited with all our stuff in our house in England by the beginning of April. Not real sure what we are going to do without our stuff for almost a MONTH! Luckily, we have some friends that we be over there already so I'm sure somehow we will get by okay.

A final thought...New Year's Resolutions....
I haven't thought of any big thing that I want to accomplish but here is a small list I've made for myself (not in any order):
1. Live an active life. Go for a walk as often as I can. Whether it's working out, or sight seeing, or just taking a stroll, I want to continue to be active everyday. On the days I'm stuck in the house because of weather, I can still dance in the house with the girls, play a game, or lots of other things!
2. Strive to be a good mother. Love them all the time, even the moments its hard. Use the scriptures and guidance from the Holy Ghost to help me. I will try to teach them whenever something new presents itself. Be an example to them by being a good wife and loving my husband (which I do!!) Most importantly, I just want them to have no doubt in their mind that they are loved and cherished, and they are something special!
3. Always be reading a book. I don't mean I'll always have a book in my hand, but whenever I'm done with one, find another one to get into. The only opportunity I have right now to read is when I am nursing Ainsley, but I have read a lot of books doing that!  Right now I am reading two books, 1984 (for a book club), and Michael Vey The Prisoner of Cell 25 (for fun!).
4. Lastly, I want to get more organized. I think I need to get more storage stuff for the house and DEFINITELY a toy chest for the girls. (Its getting crazy).

Let me know if you've thought of some great resolutions!
